Facade

Step off Rustaveli Avenue and the side streets are full of apartment buildings like this one with barely a straight line or a true angle to be found. I'm amazed that so many of them are still standing.

Sigh. So many of Manila's pre-war buildings and houses are like this too. But the Kashveti Church is lovely! Looks very solid too.

Welcome to the CDP community! I've only heard of Tbilisi by name and know next to nothing about it, so I'm looking forward to seeing and learning more about it through your eyes.

That's a great shot. Beautifully framed.

I'm not sure that I'd be too keen to stand under that balcony!

Hi Hilda. Thanks for the welcome. Thanks Denton. Thanks Kris. Tbilisi is in an earthquake zone. If even a mild one ever hits a lot of the old city is going to collapse.
